The 2005 General Lee

The General Lee gets a 2005 makeover, although I've heard that they are not going to use a modern version of the Dodge Charger in the new Dukes of Hazzard movie.

What kind of idiot (i'll try not to curse) would think it would be alright to paint a four door in the style of the General Lee when we all know it can only be done in two door style. I may not be a Dukes of Hazzard know it all but as a loyal fan I do know that it would be criminal to assume that, even if you remove the rear door handles and try to paint a sunroof, you cannot fully assertain the true power and feeling of the real General Lee. When Dodge comes around and puts out a two door sport version, I will be one of the first to pay my tribute and paint it in the style that will never die.

Man who ever did that to a car is fucking stupid. the General Lee doesnt need a new kind of car or paint or year. the General Lee is a one of a kind car ya sure you can get one but still there is only a few in the world and they go make a little fucking four dore peace of shit and do the same stuff, that is just a desgrase of the general lee and the dukes show. well if you have any comints about what i said e-mail me at ike_59@hotmail.com

i am so on your side!! it would be criminal to paint any car but the 1969 Dodge Charger like the General Lee!! He's a classic and can't be remade by anyone. Any person who thinks that he can improve the General Lee by making him a more updated model or some shit is crazy!! he was like that in the 70's and should remain like that forever!! THE GENERAL LEE WILL RIDE AGAIN...just not like that...shit its hideous aint it?

I love the car, although the color is off, as a painter i would know. I see nothing wrong with the new General, to me it still shows what the idea was, to begin with back in the 70s. It doesnt mater what the paint job is on. I have a hooked up Chevy S-10 that will drop a cobra mustang like FUCKING flys baby, and painted like the General, Showing my southern pride and where i am from , and i dont even live in the south anymore. Yeah i get looks . but most are good , b/c they remember it as a child, and we all loved it. Its even more proud to show it now. B/c the flag is fround upon. Those who fround need a history lesson. BUt most love the Truck

Oh its me, its me again, the guy right above with the S-10 truck. I just wanted to know why in the hell the guys above keep saying 4 door, though they make them in 4 door ....THAT IS A "NOT" A 4 DOOR, ITS A 2 DOOR.

Seriously that is just about the ugliest thing ever. One Dodge should never have made a new charger if it was going to look like the crap they made. Two, why would anyone paint such a car with such an awesome icon. Nothing ever deserves to be painted like so unless it is a 69 Charger.

WTF!!! That's bull shit, it is a 4 door with shaved handles, the color is off, and it has a sunroof. I understand dodge is just trying to be cool, but get real. Build that damn challanger they were talkin about and paint that damn thing like The General. Then it might be worth bearing The Stars and Bars. If it's got that paint job it at least has to have some rip shit engine in it. Fuck the show, gimmy the Go!
